The hospitality industry is rapidly developing in Sri Lanka, and Sri Lanka needs 400,000 professionals to cater foreign / local tourists by 2020 and now you too can be qualified to be a hotelier with BCAS Kandy Campus. Anyone who has passed the GCE Ordinary Level or Advanced Level examination can attend the Diploma in Hotel Management at BCAS in Kandy. Students who complete the course have the opportunity to obtain a local or foreign employment at the end of the course.

This course consists of Front Office, Food & Beverages, Local & International Cookery, Housekeeping, Pastry & Bakery Production, Fruits & Vegetables Carvings, Languages (English & French) & IT knowledge. In addition to the 6 months internship training at star class hotels, BCAS has provided students with a star class restaurant and a kitchen equipped with all modern cooking utensils in order to expose them for class hotel experience during the course.

BCAS is approved by the Sri Lanka Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). The students who successfully complete the course will receive two local and international certifications from BCAS. In addition to the BCAS certification, students will be given a Pearson (Edexcel) UK certificate.

The course is designed for one year with 6 months paid internships at star hotels in Sri Lanka. The course will be conducted both in week days & week ends. The course fee can be paid in instalments and further details about the course can be received dialing 0777 888 199.

The first batch of hotel management course at BCAS Kandy ceremonially commenced on 08.08.2017 at BCAS premises.
